Dev Log 2


Something interesting I found while doing the software engineering for this game was that most of the classes in the game are only connected to each other through association, which surprised both me and my professor, but it works as intended even so. Hopefully I didn't do something terribly wrong that I'll regret later down the line.


Game progress overall is at about 70%; the first level just needs some fine tuning and it'll be good to go, and the layout for the second is well underway. Scripts and such are roughly 95% complete, with mainly just debugging to be done. UI elements should be added within the week, since currently the UI is... not particularly great. After that, it's just making the final level and adding some refinements to the project to complete it! Hopefully it'll be done by Thanksgiving at the latest...


Come see me at the Florida Poly Game Expo on December 4th! It's sure to be a whole lot of fun, considering the amount of games that will be there.
